One block from downtown Winter Park's renowned Park Avenue sits an architectural treasure known as the Barbour Apartments (presently called Barbour House). Designed by the renowned architect James Gamble Rogers II and constructed in 1937 with materials imported from Spain, it evokes the feeling of an ancient Spanish village. Since its inception, the collection of distinctive apartments has been a favorite subject of many artists and photographers.
Each apartment has its unique floor plan and features. A lushly landscaped courtyard with a brick-paved patio and a fountain sits at the center of the three two-story buildings that form a right triangle.
There are ten apartments, some of which are long-term rentals, and the others are short-term furnished rentals.
